The Montgomery family built the space in 1852 not too far from their Plantation home. The space was used to store produce close to the Mississippi River before shipping it out.
Today, the venue features the original exposed wooden beams, elegant brick walls, striking gold-beaded curtains and gorgeous crystal chandeliers creating a stylish and tasteful atmosphere perfect for your New Orleans reception.

At 7,500 square feet Republic New Orleans can accommodate parties of 10 to 1000, as the layout consist of several separate, yet interconnected spaces. Adorned with art deco murals, vintage brick walls, large slate bars, crystal chandeliers, and exposed wooden beams, the unique space is classic and timeless. The stage, projection screen, and custom lighting create an ideal setting for wedding receptions, corporate functions, and other special events.
