Republic New Orleans had the honor of hosting the March of Dimes' 20th Annual Spotlight on Success Fundraiser.

The Sponsors
The 23 honorees were overwhelmingly successful at raising donations ranging from George Rodrigue's artwork to a trip to Las Vegas to Stoli Elit table service at Republic New Orleans.

Noteworthy
When all of the contributions were tallied, the March of Dimes raised over $75,000 to advance its cause of preventing birth defects, premature births, and infant mortality, and astonishing figure considering New Orleans' difficult situation. After the presentation of the honorees, the Bucktown All-Stars held court as the night evolved into what many are saying was the party of 2006 thus far, with DJ Matic spinning everyone's favorite 80s and new wave into the wee hours of the morning.
