Thursdays are LEGIT at Republic. LEGIT serves progressive electro/pop and alternative hits to dynamic New Orleanians with an eye for style.
Action Action Reaction DJs Travis (of The Public) and Elizabeth (of OEJ's 80s night) throw the independent dance party that gets party-goers moving and the bass thumping. We can't wait to have them on the stage again.

Friday Night - Mobsters Throwback
Check out the Mobsters Throwback featuring Know Your Enemy (Rage Against
The Machine cover band) this Friday March 12th at Republic New Orleans.
Know Your Enemy will play the best of Rage Against The Machine while
classic Mobster films like “Scarface”, “Godfather”, and “Dick
Tracy” play on the big screen behind them. Plus, Damion Yancy will spin
a double dose of 90s East Coast / West Coast “Gangster” rap. Dress as
a mobster / gangster / mafia member in a suit (pin-stripe, if possible),
fedora hat, pocket square, etc. Anyone in full costume gets a free drink
ticket at the door! Plus, we’ll have $2 “Scarface” shots ($1 with a
Throwback Slap Bracelet). As always, enjoy $2 High Life and $4 wells,
solve a Rubik’s Cube for a free tab, and play the Throwback arcade with
40 retro games all night! Be one of the best-dressed, and we'll also take
your Polaroid and put it on the Throwback Wall of Fame. You'll get a $30
bar tab for each Throwback that your picture stays up!
