“Ready…set…GO!” Don’t miss the 2^nd annual Mario Kart Throwback featuring DJ G this Friday July 20^th at Republic New Orleans. We’ll have multiple Nintendo 64s with Mario Kart on retro TVs on stage! Join the Mario Kart 64 tournament for a chance to win a free bottle of booze or an open bar! Sign-up on the facebook event wall, at the door when you arrive, or take the stage when we call up contestants! Dress as a Mario character (Mario, Peach, Toad) and get a free drink. No costume? We’ll have FREE Mario mustaches for the first 10 people through the door! DJ G will spin the best 80s, 90s, indie, and some Mario remixes! In honor of Mario’s Fireball power, we’ll have $3 shots of Fireball Whisky all night long ($2 with a Throwback slap bracelet)! We’ll also have free Throwback slap bracelets for the first 50 people that ask the register girl for one! As always, enjoy $2 High Life and $4 wells, solve a Rubik’s Cube for a free drink, and play the free Throwback arcade with 40 retro games all night!
